（a） 副词作状语 (谓语的附加成分)

原因状语 As…, then…

让步状语 Although…, nevertheless

虽然私家车使用导致环境被污染，但是提高油价无法长期解决环境问题

简单的长句

（1） 宾语从句

argue, think, believe that…

一些人认为我们应该与朋友一起去旅行。

Some people believe that we should travel with friends.

许多人争论说长时间使用电脑伤害孩子的眼睛。

Many people argue that using computers for long may be damaging to children’s eyes.

（2） 表语从句 is/are that

对此的主要原因是在国外学习会拓展一个人的视野。

The main reason for this is that studying abroad can broaden an individual’s horizon.

The fact is that sports stars have certain talent.
