1.你真的有效完成了雅思写作任务吗?
典型症状
背 “模板”、搬“范文”，张冠李戴，文不对题;
开头冗长“凑字数”，言之无物;
通篇内容空洞，没有按照题目要求进行描述和归纳(小作文)或论述(大作文)。
主要病因
也许是受到中文写作思维惯性的影响，许多小伙伴习惯性的在文章的开篇堆叠各种华丽词句，但读起来会发现大段文字绕来绕去却并没有进入主题，又或是因为过分迷恋依赖“模板”、“范文”内的格式和句型，却忽略了考试题目中实际的要求而导致说“废话”。大家有没有发现中文里这种由大及小、由远及近的迂回做法常导致观点不清晰，而英文采用直线型切题的写作方式，开门见山很重要，把最重要的观点放在最前面，然后辅助以数据、论据等，这样可以确保在有限的篇幅和时间内完成沟通的交流目的。
二是不能准确领悟题目的要求，导致写作起来不切题，也就无从“完成写作任务”。
仔细阅读雅思官方评分标准写作部分，小作文要求“能否有效地找到信息中关键的内容并对之进行描述和写作”，考的是描述能力。在短短的150字左右的篇幅内，想要把图表内的每个信息都进行描述是不可能、也是不必要的，关键的是要把这些信息分组，然后挑出最重要的信息(比如最高的、最低的等)突出表述，最后进行归纳总结、简述趋势。
就大作文来说，主要考察“论点是否切中题目的要求、论证过程是否完整、论点是否得到了论据的支持;观点是否清晰和有效”，考的是论述能力。其实，任何考试作文题考的都是写作能力，而不是考你的观点有多么正确。正所谓“论之有据”，中文写作如此，英文写作也不例外，但中国烤鸭往往落入费尽心思挖论点的误区，而忽略了使用论据来证明自己的论点。此外，要把观点表述得“清晰有效”也很考功夫。英文写作中注重言简意赅，特别是在篇幅有限的考试写作的环境下，更需要大家将自己的观点提纲挈领地表述出来，并通过使用主题句(每段的开头或结尾)或者是标志性词汇(如“thefirst/second/…/last reason is”等)来清晰明了地指示出自己的观点。
对症下药
此外，平时多进行英文阅读，重点可以看看两类文章，一是经济类的，看看人家是如何把数据进行分组、对比、归纳的，二是观点性的，学习人家如何呈现和分析观点。最关键的是不要光看就算，要做有心人，把文章中实用性的句式、词汇、表达方法摘抄下来，这样才能日后为我所用。
在考试的时候不要吝惜分析题目的时间，花5分钟好好看清题目要求，把握好“写作任务”到底是什么—特别是大作文，把文章稍作计划再开始下笔，这样会达到事半功倍的效果。
2.缺乏连贯性、逻辑混乱
典型症状
东一句，西一句，句子之间没有关联;分段能力欠缺，不能把一个主题或观点的内容集中在一个段落;很少使用关联词、标志性词汇，组织比较松散。
主要病因
在考试时间的压力下，许多小伙伴都匆忙下笔，想到哪儿写到哪儿，导致整个文章结构松散，即便是字字珠玑，但也让阅读者很难找到句与句之间、段落与段落之间的逻辑关系，读起来费尽，那么通过写作达到交流的目的也就无从谈起。
中文里很少或几乎不用形式连接手段，只是将句与句排列起来，依赖语义让读者去了解其内在关系，所以中国烤鸭的文章常给人以条例不清的印象。英文写作则注重语句之间的连贯性和逻辑关联，其表现形式就是使用关联词、标志性词汇，它们是把散落的珍珠串起来的细线。现在小伙伴们逐渐注意到了这个方面，不过偏向集中在段落之间(如使用“first/ second/…”等)，但在句际、句内的逻辑关系连接尚比较缺乏，只是简单地套用中文句法，句际句内用逗号而非关系词连接，导致句法出错而被扣分。
对症下药
雅思写作讲究一定的格式和规范，注重理清写作的思路要从平时练起，建议大家在平时练习的时候不要光注重写，也要注重分析自己的文章—回过头来看看有没有哪些句子可以重组、哪些地方需要加上关联词/标志性词汇来加强连贯性。
在考试的时候，下笔之前应该先计划一下写作思路，花点时间把文章的架构搭好：如有很多信息点(小作文)或观点(大作文)，一定要好好归纳一下，形成最重要的三四个，然后安排次序—先写/论什么、再写/论什么…，依此类推，这样下笔之后不至于杂乱无章。
