Describe a toy that was important to you in your childhood.

Speaking of my favorite toy, I would like to talk about a set of plaything-cooker that my mother bought for me. To be honest with you, it really played an essential role in my childhood.

When I was 6 years old, my parents had to be busy with their work and enjoy less time to accompany with me or play with me. As a result, I always used the plaything-cooker, including bowl, knife and scoop, to play the game called playhouse. At that time, I lived in a house; we had fun in the large yard after school every day.

All of us disguise ourselves as family members, such as father, mother and children, even grandparents. Specially, I was willing to disguise as mother al the time. Actually, I had no idea about that. Maybe, I wanted to take care of others or use the plaything-cooker to cook for them.

Until now, I still keep the set of plaything cooker, which can constantly remind me of my childhood.

Do you think it’s good for parents to spend lots of money on toys?

Well I guess it depends on what the toy is. Because for example, if parents simply splash out on expensive toys without giving much thought to the possible impact of the toys on their child’s development. Should be real value of enjoyment and educational, not depends on money and price.

But if on the other hand, parents choose toys carefully, and take into consideration how the toys might benefit their children, and then I’d say it’s perfectly fine, as long as the parents can afford it, of course.
