What: Speaking of badminton, I know it kinds of normal sports for many people. It is a lot like tennis, but people can play badminton anywhere, they do not have to go to a tennis court to play, many people often play badminton at the ground nearly their house.
When: When I was a little boy, my father had ever taught me how to play this sport. But at that time, I was not interested in playing it at all; I virtually spent all the spare time to watch TV. So I never played it.
Whether it is difficult to do: It is quite difficult for two main reasons. The thing is I have ever had a traffic accident; a taxi driver rear-ended my car, so one of my arm hurt and could not move. Until now, my right arm could not move too fast, otherwise I will feel quite painful. What I shame. Another reason is that my hectic modern life style has deprived me of the time for leisure activities, as I am becoming increasing time poor. Consequently, playing badminton has become the luxuries.
Why you would like to try it There are some reasons as for why I would like to try this sport: benefits of playing sports
- Firstly, playing badminton it good for health, especially in the morning, the air is fresh.
– Secondly, it can help us to keep fit, and it will make our body stronger.
- Additionally, make new friends, and it can promote our social skills. To my mind, playing badminton was more than just a kind of sport. It represented friendship as well as happiness. It was a really good platform for me to meet new friends and catch up with old friends.
- What is more, I have ever read (red) an article that stated that playing badminton could help improve the sleeping quality. I used to suffer insomnia; I really want to improve my sleeping quality.
Do you play sports at night?
I don’t want to do any extreme sports three four hours before I sleep, especially after dinner. I have ever read a newspaper it stated that heavy sports before sleep, and after dinner would damage your stomach. Some people might prefer do sports at night, so they will feel tired before sleep, therefore there are likely to sleep deeply.
What is the difference between playing sports on your own and in a group?
Alone: focus on developing personal skill set. Work out at your own pace and not trying to match anyone else’s speed
Group: Human beings are social creatures. Playing sports in a group can help to make new friends, and it can promote our social skills. Understand the importance of cooperation and teamwork.
Do children need to exercise?
Develops muscle strength. Muscle strength helps to reduce children’s risk of injury.
Keeps bones strong. The crucial time to build bones starts before the teen years
Maintains a steady, healthy weight. Movement and a healthy diet, combined with reducing sedentary behaviors like watching TV, videos and computer games help to prevent obesity.
