2016年4月写作押题班答案预览:

1 Food has become cheaper and food production has increased thanks to enlarged manufacturing capacity, the use of fertilizer and better machinery. However, some believe this will do harm to the health of humans and local community as a whole. To what extent do you agree or disagree?(食品生产)

Negative impact on human health: overuse of fertilizer may cause environmental issues.

Excessive fertilizers that wash into storm drains eventually make its way into bodies of water, such as rivers and lakes, causing pollution

There is safety issue of drinking water.

Negative impact on community: may argue better machinery leads to redundancy of workers in food processing industry

Workers/farmers may find it hard to find a job without acquiring new skills.

High levels of machinery have removed much of farmers’ responsibility for tending to crops.

Farmers can enjoy their lives as they no longer need to work on maintaining the terraces by hand on a daily basis.

Positive impact on community: price largely reduced due to improvement of food processing efficiency

And savings of labour costs

Prices of imported fruits and vegetables are falling.

And are thus more accessible to ordinary families

2 When visiting foreign countries some people think it is advantageous to learn their cultures and traditions. How do you think people can learn other cultures and traditions? Why do you think some people are interested in learning those traditions and cultures while others not?(旅游文化)
Visitors can learn foreign cultures and customs in many different ways. One is through living in that country and making friends with local population.
A tourist needs to experience working and living with local people on a daily basis. This experience encourages them to understand how they make a living and get along with others.
and many of them come to have clear perspectives of their traditional skills and ways of life.

Visiting the culture center, such as museums, can also allow them to learn about their culture and tradition.
By visiting the local library and reading the books about their history and tradition , a person can acquire more knowledge about how the country looked like centuries ago.
Tourists who are devoid of proper knowledge about the places they visit, are likely to find the local customs and traditions beyond their
comprehension. This lack of knowledge demotivates tourists to become interested in learning more about the alien places.

3 Some people believe that children will have a promising future if they are always rewarded by their parents or teachers when they well behave. However, other people argue that if the children misbehave, they should be punished so that they could be qualified citizens. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion.(教育话题)
An obvious argument in favor of parents and teachers rewarding children is that this is an ideal way of educating children about their behavior.
A child needs to respect others and obey rules of society. When they show respect and share social values, we need to ensure they know they are doing the right things.
The best way to do this is through approving these behaviors by rewarding them, for example.

Research, relating to childhood education, has highlighted that children over-punished will be less confident and have no idea about what they should do when the situation is unclear.
By contrast, positive feedback from parents and teachers encourages children to become confident and keep clear perspectives in the rules of their community before being able to make decisions independently.
There are, certainly, some advantages to parents and teachers adopting some kinds of penalties and punishments.
A small proportion of young children who are naughty and are unaware of what discipline means misconduct repeatedly both in the home and at school.
Stricter systems of punishments have deterring effects on these children and many of them eventually learn the future consequences of their misbehavior, obeying rules and becoming good-mannered and well-behaved individuals.
